It is possible, whether for the Free-zone company or the Mainland company, to rent a shared office or a private office.
Shared Offices
For a Free-zone company, a shared office must be located in the Free-zone’s geographic area. It is not allowed to be located outside of the Free-zone.
For a Mainland company, it can be located anywhere in the Emirate in which the company is registered.
The conditions for using the shared office depend on the contract signed, i.e. number of hours per week, etc.
It is not possible to have a utility bill with a shared office at this time.
Private Offices
For a Free-zone company, a private office must be located in the Free-zone’s geographic area. It is not allowed to be located outside of the Free-zone.
For a Mainland company, it can be located anywhere in the Emirate in which the company is registered.
A private office will entail a monthly Utility Bill. This bill will typically be requested by a bank, tax domicile certificate, etc. as part of proof of an office location.
