There are several ways to obtain a residence visa for the Emirates.
Investor Visa (Partner in a company / Real Estate purchase)
The Investor visa is available in 2 cases:
1. You are a partner of a company (Free-zone or Mainland). In this case, the visa is issued for 2 years and it’s renewable (no longer 3 years in Free-zone since October 1st 2022).
2. The purchase of a real estate property. In this case, the duration of the visa depends on the total amount of your real estate located in the Emirates:
– 2-year renewable term: between AED 750,000 and AED 1,999,999.
– Duration of 5 years renewable: between AED 5 000 000 and AED 9,999,999.
– 10-year renewable term: must be higher than AED 2,000,000.

Employment Visa
This visa requires to have an employer and an employment contract in the United Arab Emirates. Its validity will be as follow:
– 2 years renewable if the employer is a Free-zone company (no longer 3 years in Free-zone since October 1st 2022);
– 2 years renewable if the employer is a Mainland company.
The holder of a Freelance permit issued by a Free-zone Registry benefits from this type of visa with a renewable duration of 2 years.

Dependant Visa (Spouse / Child / Parents)
The family members can be sponsored by a person who has a residence visa in the UAE. The visa validity will be the same as the sponsor. The family members you can sponsor are:
– spouse;
– wife(s);
– daughter (no age limit);
– son;
– parent.

Student Visa
People who come to study in the Emirates are also granted a visa for the duration of their studies.
These visas are managed by the universities/schools, we invite you to contact them directly to know the costs and modalities to obtain it.
Remote Work Visa
For those who are employed or self-employed outside the UAE, it is now possible to obtain a visa for a period of one year.
It is necessary to justify:
For employees:
– An employment contract from a company registered outside the UAE;
– A salary of min. AED 18,000 / USD 5,000 per month.
For self-employed persons:
– An average income of min. AED 18,000 / USD 5,000 per month.
The amounts should be justified by providing a salary slip (for employees) and a bank statement of the last 3 months (for employees and self-employed).

Golden Visa
A golden visa is issued for a period of 10 years. It is reserved for people who meet the following criteria:
– Investors: Public investment/Real estate investment
– Entrepreneurs: Owner of a successfully registered startup/approved startup idea/founded an entrepreneurial project
– Outstanding Talent
– Scientists and Professionals
– Outstanding students and graduates
– Pioneers in the humanitarian field
– Frontline heroes

Green Visa
A green visa is issued for a period of 5 years. It is reserved for people who meet the following criteria:
– Freelancers/Self-employed
– Qualified employees
– Investors or partners

Retirement Visa
A 5-year renewable visa is available for people over 55 who can meet at least one of the following conditions:
– Option 1: AED 1 million (approximately USD 275,000) in savings in a 3-year fixed deposit in a local bank;
– Option 2: having paid AED 1 million (about USD 275,000) in real estate.
In both options you will have the possibility to sponsor your spouse and children (under age conditions).
