You should not confuse free-zone company and offshore. Indeed, the latter will not give you the opportunity to work on Arab soil. 2 common points:

– You are not obliged to have an Emirati partner
In the case of the offshore company, you will not leave France to settle in the Middle East. You will not be able to hire employees and will not be able to have an office in the Emirates. You will also be unable to obtain work permits and residence visas and to work with suppliers in the Emirates. In order to own an office, hire employees, work with suppliers in the country and obtain visas and pay yourself a salary, you will have to choose the free-zone company.
The latter is also to be differentiated from local companies: the rules applied are not the same.
