To obtain this type of visa, you must be employed by a Free Zone or Mainland company in Dubai.
This entails having a signed employment contract registered with the authorities.
Timeline for an employee visa in Dubai
To obtain a visa for an employee of a company, you have two options:
– Option 1: You are present in Dubai for 3 weeks (from Monday morning to Thursday evening two weeks later) to obtain your visa. or
– Option 2: We submit your application to the Immigration Services 3 weeks BEFORE your arrival in Dubai. You will then need to be present for only 6 working days in Dubai (from Wednesday morning to Wednesday evening the following week) to obtain your visa.
Regarding the Emirates ID (identity card in the size of a bank card): it is now required to make an appointment with the Authorities to perform the “fingerprint” process. Currently, the waiting time for an appointment is 3 weeks. To schedule this appointment, you must be present in Dubai and have already undergone the medical examination. A maximum of 2 hours is required to take your fingerprints (we will accompany you, of course). The Emirates ID will then be received at our postal box, at least 7 working days after the fingerprinting process (your presence is not required to receive it; we will keep it for you if you are no longer present).
